There is ...I landed that 20 lb 'er on a 5 wt... There is a balancing act you kinda play when your doing this type of insane addicting fishing. You are using bigger bugs and fishing to bigger fish but at the same time the heavier wt lines will slap the water and spook the fish. Id say a six or a seven wt but the right 5 wt works. May the carp gods be with you Cofisher!
